I am seeking information on good practice in assessment/exam arrangements
for dyslexic students in HEIs, to help inform a review of policy and
practice at UCN. I am particularly interested in developments since the
National Working Party of Dyslexia in HE report was published in 1999.
I would appreciate the following information from HEIs across the sector.

alternative exam applications?
3. How much extra time is granted to dyslexic students in exams?
4. What other arrangements are permitted in written exams, eg?
- word processors?
- readers?
- amanuensis?
- stickers to identify papers of dyslexic students?

- other?
5. I would appreciate a copy of any policy &/or guidelines for tutors on
marking work of dyslexic students.
6. What precautions are in place to ensure maintenance of academic
standards?
7. Any other comments?
Thank you for your time,
