You may be interested in the "Data Protection Made Easy" conference on 17 October in London organised jointly by Capita and the Constitution
Unit. Speakers include Maurice Frankel from the Campaign for Freedom of Information, Duncan Simpson from the Public Record Office and Terry
Tierney the Data Manager at the Inland Revenue. As with previous conferences, half the day will be set aside for practical case study workshops
so you can work through common issues with colleagues. Further details and a registration form are available at www.capitaconferences.co.uk
(follow the link to central government then to October conferences as it is not possible to hyperlink the exact page).
I am organising the case studies for the conference so if list members have any examples that could be developed into case studies, or
particular problems that you would like addressed, please email me at [log in to unmask]
