Hi
There is no facility (that I'm aware of) for helping with additional
travel costs incurred as a result of the disability in these
circumstances. However as John rightly points out, non-disabiled
applicants have to pay for travel. It would also be a tad bizarre if
Unis were expected to fund the travel of students before they have even
applied for a course.
Do any institutions support disabled students' travel to and from home
at weekends and holidays?
I'm not sure if Social Services could be persuaded to help in these
circumstances. I doubt it - though I could be meistaken.
Cheers
