Difficult in a particular program but if you have windows ME go to
http://www.microsoft.com/enable/training/windowsme/cursor.htm
A comparison of what can be done in '98 as opposed to ME can be found at
http://www.microsoft.com/enable/products/chartwindows.htm
Changes to the pointer (under mouse in control panel) can also enhance the
cursor a little.
Hope that helps.
Best wishes

Subject: Microsoft Office 2000 - flashing cursor
- Does anybody know how to make the flashing cursor, within Microsoft
Office 2000, 'thicker'. I have a visually-impaired student who loses the
cursor due to is slim size. I can alter the cursor blink rate, but that is
all.
- Microsoft (Tel. 0870 6010100) suggested I try the Microsoft Knowledge
Base http://search.support.microsoft.com/kb/c.asp but I could not find any
related information.
Many thanks
