DEar Clare,
here at UNL we let Jaws read the PDF files from
our website. If students want we can transcribe this into
braille, text or tape.
As to pdf versus rtf, well rtf will sit happy in a Word
programme, and as most VI/dyslexic students should have
access to a text reader at least, then this should be able
to read it.
As far as your tables are concerned it all depends on how
they were created. We use a simple Word file to generate
tables using TABS, some however go into spread sheets, and
thats more complicated, if this isnt complicated enough !
