I use JAWS and think it is much more powerful than Hal and Supernova. JAWS
handles the WWW and packages such as Excel much better. JAWS is more
complicated but with that you get much better access to a wider range of
applications and there is the possibility of scripting for applications
which are not well supported. Therefore, JAWS would be more use to a greater
number of students on more diverse courses, in my humble oppinion.
The latest version of JAWS does work on networks and is less fussy about
settings (such as colour and resolution) than previous versions.
