Firstly, the notes are very specifically meant to be on the pre-reading so what
is covered in the actual lecture might well not be as detailed.
Secondly, you could tell them that some cards will be sampled and checked to
make sure thay are on that week's topic alone, but ultimately as you suggest i
don't think it matters!
