Hello everyone
With increasing numbers of disabled students applying, we have more students who
require support when they attend an Open day/interview etc. For example; sign
lang interpreter costs.
Up until now we have paid these costs, however this may be under threat with the
numbers rising who need support. I feel without question that the costs of this
support should not fall on the prospective student....but the powers that be do
not see things the same !
Could others let me know if they fund these types of costs, if they have
difficulty justifying it to managers, and which resource do they use to pay.
Any views which would strengthen my argument etc, greatly appreciated.
