Dear All,
Just to add a little something to Patrick's message below -
it seems that each local area has had some 'ways' of its own when
dealing with DSA's. We have agreed locally that we do not have to
provide 3 quotations - we had to send details of our supplier and
why we use them and lots of info about them but have been able to use
the one quotation since.
We have had a very good relationship with our local people but have
been thwarted by the protracted systems which have been in place. The
local people act as 'middlepeople' between us and Blackpool, who
actually send out the cheques. I believe that the advantage of
dealing with Blackpool will be that we are actually dealing with the
service which is providing the DSA. There will probably be some
settling in period, but hopefully it will become easier and smoother.
regards, Marie
