An interesting aside, arising from the DPA98 conference the other
day. Phil Boyd made it clear that you will not be able to withold the
final mark from a student, even if they haven't paid up - it's all to
do with subject access rights. You can withold the award, but not the
mark. So they will be able to discover that they have a 2:1, or a 1st,
or whatever, even though they don't actually have the award itself.
