Dear all,
I would be exceptionally grateful if you could please have a read through
the following advertisment and circulate where you feel appropriate -
careers centres, friends, ex-students etc. where you think we may find
suitable people. More information is always available from me. Many thanks
in advance - Richard Edwards.

Volunteer Support Scheme
The University is setting up its own Volunteer Support Scheme. This is
designed to offer would be volunteers the opportunity to work with students
who have some physical or sensory disability to help them manage University
life and to realise their full potential.
Volunteers are given a generous allowance, free accommodation, travel
expenses, standard university vacations, membership of the students union
and use of the library. Projects run from late September 1999 to June 2000.
