This is a tricky one... does anyone have any experience of providing
students with mental health difficulties (anxiety and depression) with
mentors, funded by DSA, to help motivate them for their work?
We are having trouble drawing the line here between the motivation a
student needs to get going, and what is really in our jargon supervision,
i.e. what he should get in his one-to-one sessions from his subject
supervisor - for example, structuring essays. However it is a rather
fuzzy line! We're having trouble drawing up job descriptions for the
mentors/ motivators. Any suggestions much appreciated!
