Dear Mike,
If they hamper safety or us then they will not be allowed for installation.
The fire officer will want the required safe width of the stair to remain
even when the stairlift is in use. They are only practicable, therefore,
where the stair is sufficiently wide.
When specifying you should ensure that a power platform has been specified.
