Hi!
Since I'm planning to get married to another disabled person & I'm a
columnist for Sun Newspapers, I thought I'd do a column about how disabled
couple prepared for marriage and how they cope with difficulties after
marriage. So if you''re part of a married couple, please could you answer
the following questions:
1. How did your parents react when you told them you weree marrying another
disabled person?
2. How did you cope to their reactions?
3. What obstacles (if any) did you think you'd face when you got married?
4. What were the actual obstacles & how did you tackle them?
5. Do you think marrying another disabled person mkes your love stronger or
it doesn't matter?
6. Do you help take care of each other?
7. Have your parents changed their attitudes since you got married?
8. Did you seek counseling before you got married?
9. Do you have support systems other than your family?
10. Are you happy?
Thanks very much for answering theses questions? If you want,
your name will be kept confidential?
Sincerely yours,
Rosemary Musachio
