Hi everyone,
I was wondering if I could pick your brains. For one of this terms,
and the vacation projects I'm hoping to assist the colleges here at
Oxford to look at their college prospectus's with the view to having
some sort of disability info incorporated. We have a general
Undergrads prospectus provided by the University (this has disability
info in), plus an additional Undergraduates with disabilities
prospectus. However, each college also has its own prospectus, and/or
info packs, which go out to prospective and new students - this
literature rarely mention students with disabilities even if the
college has some provision or is willing to accommodate.
I wondered what other institutions have in terms of literature. Is
disability incorporated into mainstream prospectus and if so in what
form, content. Do Institutions provide 'welcome' infomation packs and
if so in what format, what content, who aimed at, when and who sends
out the info packs.
Sorry if this sounds alittle muddled, but any ideas or even better
examples of literature would be very gratefully received.
Many thanks for everyones help and time.
Best wishes
