Until recently, CCPD had a part-time administrator only but
thanks to recent developments we are now in a position to make
this a full-time post. For some months we have done without
altogether while we sorted out our routines, so there is no
question of having an internal candidate unofficially in the wings!
As a result the following advert is to appear in the Evening
Standard, a London paper:

For this administrative role your responsibilities will include
telephone liaison, booking confirmations, proof reading, report
producing, invoicing, liaising with LEAs, chasing and processing
payments, and supporting the administration of any other CCPD
work.
Applicants should be educated up to at least A-Level, standard,
with particular emphasis on written English, and have experience
of a wide range of office or administrative work. A friendly
personality, good telephone manner, self-confidence and the
ability to deal with individuals and small groups are essential
qualities sought. MS-Office, Word and E-Mail experience is
desirable.
