While we're on the subject I thought it worth mentioning
that cheap and cheerful solutions can often be effective.
Toy shops sell fat pens, e.g. those that contain multi
coloured ink refills (or what ever they call the thing that
contains the ink), also foam rubber pens - they may have a
animals head on the top, but what the hell.
Children can find gripping a pen to be tricky so again try
a toy shop for a pen grip - cheap.
Pushing a pen through a foam rubber tennis ball can solve
the problem for people who need something fatter to hold.
Rubber tap swirls, obtained from hardware shops. Inserting
a biro into these can make a suitable grip for a pen.
The above may not be perfect for all - will be for some -
but can make a suitable cost effective stop gap while
waiting for the more sophisticated grips to be located and
arrive.
