Sarah,
I would recommend that you find out which company installed the staging
in the performance hall in question. The contractors who do this (for
example Stage Electrics, Avonmouth, Bristol, www.slx.co.uk) are
experienced in providing all sorts of customised staging and viewing
platforms. The Professional Lighting and Sound Association (PLASA) may
be able to point you in the direction of an appropriate company or
trading association (www.plasa.org.uk). Your local theatre should also
have the name of a company that they have used in the past to construct
staging.
