Eleanor is a Chartered Psychologist who finds, like many, that the
evidence for dyslexia is sometimes very much open to argument.
Unfortunately, it is neigh on impossible to get one Chartered
Psychologist to openly disagree with the findings of another -
professional ethics.
It may be a good idea to ask the assessor (who must be Chartered
to carry any weight) to scale the dyslexia on a scale of 1 to 10,
with ten as most severe. This condition is in some ways like colour
blindness - no-one has 100% colour sight and no-one is 100% non-dyslexic.
