I'm not sure how many of you know of, use or suggest this browser for users
with disabilities. Please note below a useful review from the RSI-UK list:
>> I've been trying out this browser. It's very handy -- you can toggle
>> things like load-images and use-own-background from the toolbar.
>> (Some sites I can't read at all until I turn the background white,
>> so it's useful not to have to delve into the bowels of a menu to
>> make the change.)
>>
>> But what I like most about it is that virtually everything can be
>> done from the keyboard, so you don't need to use the mouse -- bane
>> of my life.
>
>I use this as my main browser on my 486 at home, and my mother uses it on
>her 486SX/25, where it works much faster than Netscape, and the features to
>turn off images and backgrounds/colours are very useful. Although I use it
>with the mouse, since I'm not so keyboard-focused :) I also use it at work
>where I have a Pentium and it is faster than Netscape 4.
>
>The latest beta has Java and cascading style sheets (CSS1), but it's best if
>people download version 3.21 as their main browser, which is pretty stable
>and is somewhat like Netscape 3 without Java. Ports are in development to
>various systems including BeOS, Amiga, Psion Series 5, Mac, etc, as well as
>Linux/Solaris.

>European readers might like to use the Norwegian home site, at
>http://opera.nta.no/, which is usually faster from Europe.
>
>It's also good for partially-sighted users, since you can control the font
>sizes very well, as well as using a simple Zoom control to expand text using
>a font that's too small.
>
>Back on topic for a second... Opera also has a 'bookmark nickname' feature,
>e.g. you type 'rsi-uk' in the URL field and it expands that to the bookmark
>with that nickname. Useful to avoid a lot of mousing for sites that you
>visit a lot.
