Hello,
The problem is the use of Oracle. We had the same problem with
Ingres, another industrial strength database engine. Neither has a
decent font setter.
Our partially sited student (peripheral only vision) hated magnifiers,
and those available (to my knowledge) on Unix are poor. We solved her
problem with a simple spring loaded arm to bring the monitor to her,
rather than having her lean over the keyboard. The postural difference
was all that was necessary in this case.
