Can anyone help me out please.
We have a student who is visually impaired, but can see a computer screen if he is no more than about 5cm away.
He needs to use some software called Oracle. The client software is Developer 2000 running on Windows 3.11 and
he will also be using SQL+ and Forms 4.5. (all this is on the college network)
Has anyone got any ideas about making this software more accessible to him or tackled this problem themselves?
I'd be grateful if anyone has any ideas.

Alex:
There would appear to be no way - with current technology - in which
Oracle can be used with speech. However, since your bod has some
useful residual vision he should be OK with enlarged print software:
Lunar, Zoomtext or whatever. What is his eye condition? It may be
that he has restricted fields, in which case enlarged print will be
of no use! He may be OK with a large monitor and his nose on the
screen. More details would be helpful to enable me to give a more
helpful answer!
