You can look up the details on our web site but in summary it is a work
confusion checker. It has a database (grouped word list) of words that can
be confused (or misspelled) and if any of these are typed in any
word-processor a warning will sound and an optional window can appear on the
screen listing all the words with a short description to help the user. For
example you could type "thier" and SoundsWrite will popup a Window listing
F1 thier : The wrong spelling of their
F2 their : Belonging to them
F3 there : as in over there
It comes with a phonic set of confusions(homophones) but the database can be
customised quite easily. You can save the database to a named file so you
can have a number of different word lists.
A snip at 25 pounds!
