Linda:
An acoustic hood for the brailler would not be sufficient in a
library environment. Even inside its hood ours sound like a motorbike
revving up! I recommend you put the brailler under a hood in a
cupboard or small room. Otherwise anybody working near to it will be
driven to distraction.
We have put aside two carrels in the library for visually impaired
students to use - I believe this works quite well.
