I have Cerebral Palsy and work at Hull University's new
Miriam Hebron Centre which is an I.T. resource centre for
disabled students. Although I can walk, I am rather
unsteady and fall easily so can not use public transport
unaided. Instead, I get a taxi to and from work, the cost
of which is partly met by The Employment Service. Would
that be a possible solution?
I sometimes work at home, but here in Hull, we do not have
British Telecom so using the staff dial-in service is also
an option as local calls cost 5p, regardless of the length
of time spent on the phone.
