I've been lurking for quite a while, so maybe it's time to come out into the
open. I hope someone out there can answer the following question.
We have a blind student studying a course which is not available on audio
cassette, and he has asked for the text to be converted into Braille.
Unfortunately the course contains alot of phonetic symbols. Please can you
tell me whether these phonetic symbols can be reproduced in Braille, and if
so is there any special software that we'll need to use? If not, is there
any other way of making the symbols accessible to the student?
