The condition you refer to as Syndrome X could well be
another name for Hemophilia A. I beleive it is linked to
the X chromasome, hence the the name you have (possibly).
If they are the same it is a bleeding disorder, which may
account for the stroke. Bleeding in the joints is common
with the condition.
