I too was confused but think that I've now got it sorted.
DD Singles is, as Paul says, the American product but contrary to the
published info does actually work with all the usual applications (the
marketing of this seems completely bizarre! Solo is an anglicised version of
DD which only works with the one specified application (plus accessories).
Confusingly Aptech can supply English voice files with DD Singles so (at the
cost of a bit of floppy disk shuffling), Singles seems to give you the full
10K DD product at a knock down price. Aptech have also said that Singles
comes with a better quality headset (we had the nice VXI headphone/mic
combination with our copy of Singles).
Anybody with further (better) info please contribute.
