Jean: touch typing progs are ten a penny now, but we rather like
Flying Fingers, although jolly old Mavis is OK too. We're looking at
others, but have not done enough research to recommend one as
better than any others.
I have a couple of text courses we wrote at the College and have used
them occasionally, depending on the student of course. Some are
able to work from copy, usually given a desktop copyholder at the same height
and focal length as the screen, but it's important to try out which side
the stand should be on. Makes all the difference. One bod
managed very well with the "paper" course during assessment once we put
the print into a yellow acetate folder.
