Only buy Kurzweil VOICE (299.00+VAT) if you want to use several programs.
For most users Kurzweil VoicePad is enough (79.00). If you start with
VoicePad you can upgrade to Voice for £199.
VoicePad allows you to open or save as a Word doc - or cut and paste).
However, most people don't worry about this UNLESS they want the advanced
features of Word. Just save it as a VoicePad doc. You can call up old docs
and work by voice.
The large 200 000 word list is a great comfort for correct spelling. We also
provide add-ons. See our www and look up Talk Max.
Be aware that Kurzweil VoicePad produces a ready-to-go, edited, formatted,
corrected doc. FINISHED.
IBM Simply Speaking needs retrospective keyboard work to achieve the same.
With Kurzweil you can type and mouse, if you wish, in the middle of talking,
so you can add weird words easily without cluttering up your voice profile
with things you may only want once.
