We haven't managed to do it yet, but have been looking at the
possibility, both for dyslexic students and for profoundly deaf
students (in this case, using a BSL interpreter), so I'd be pleased
to hear of any precedents that I can use to support developments
here.

Your assistance please:
Does anyone have any guidelines on the use of viva's to support or
replace written assessments for disabled students? This is for a
dyslexic student follwoing a social sciences degree course, the viva
would be used to 'back up' the student's written examination. Please
