Futher to my comments about the possibility of using the Marquee
screen saver, the text string is stored in control.ini under the
heading [Screen Saver.Marquee]. Below is an example.
[Screen Saver.Marquee]
PWProtected=0
Text=Does this text appear in control.ini?
Font=System
Size=10
BackgroundColor=0 0 0
TextColor=255 0 255
Speed=10
Attributes=00000
CharSet=0
This must give a head start to anyone wanting to implement a feature
like this. It would be fairly easy (!!) for someone with the time to
write a Visual Basic program that could update this file.
