It's a fact that purchasing a TFT notebook is a much cheaper
solution due to the volume purchased by the notebook manufacturer.
You can get a monochrome LCD for about stlg600.
One of our notebook suppliers quotes stlg1800 for a P166 32MB 10.4" TFT
and stlg2150 for a 12.1" TFT.
