ASSISTANT STUDENT ADVISER -- IT SUPPORT & RESEARCH
The Student Services Department requires a full time Assistant Student
Adviser to assess and support IT requirements in the areas of student
learning support and disability.
The successful candidate will be expected to install, maintain and upgrade
alternative access IT software and hardware and also conribute to the
development and implementation of research strategies in this field.
Knowledge and practical experience of adaptive technologies is therefore
essential. You will also have a first degree or equivalent qualification
related to IT.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will be
expected to work with students and help foster links with relevant national
organisations and research institutions.
You could be based at either Chelmsford or Cambridge, but will be expected
to travel between sites and to other partnership colleges of A.P.U.
