We haven't had a case like this one but I think we would simply point
out the situation to the exam board and if the candidate was
borderline between two classifications they might be given the
benefit of the doubt. We wouldn't have a standard way of upgrading
marks, for example. We aren't modularised and only have exams at the
end of each year, but for some programmes the second year can count
for 20% of the final degree, so this could be a potential problem.
