Access Training
Most of the responses so far relate to support type training. One of the
other major areas of training that is needed in Universities relates to the
estates departments, who are then required to implement accessible designs
across the campus.
We have provided this type of training on a regular basis to increas the
understanding of making buildings accessible to students, staff and=
visitors.
We provide these in a full day format with a maximum of 15 participants who
take part in design exercises and lecture type format. There is NO role
playing as we have found this to be completely unproductive.
Average charges are =A3500 per day with travel and other expenses on top
and=
VAT.
We have published most of the information, and much more in a "Barrier-free
designs; manual for building designers and managers" which is available in
the bookshops and from us for Stlg 33.00 inclusive of P&P
Thank you to everyone who has bought it so far - the publisher has had to
order a re-print!
