Dear Loretto
Surrey has a Student Counselling Service funded by the University which
shares reception facilities with the Health Centre on campus but is not
included in the services provided by the GP practice which supplies medical
care.
The two queries that come to my mind are whether counsellors employed by a
GP practice have sufficient experience of counselling students, which is a
bit of a specialism, and whether the practice would be able to employ
sufficient full-time staff to meet the demand.
