Hi everyone.
Can I just say that I find this list *very* useful indeed!
We are hoping to set up a special needs machine in IT Services that
will both help IT staff support the use of the programs installed and
also to act as a demo machine for members of the University.
I am hoping to install some items that cover more common special
needs, such as textHELP! for dyslexia.
As we have a blind student who is hoping to install HAL95 in the near future
on her machine I am also recommending that we puchase a copy of that.
I have seen it in action at the RNIB (Torquay).
I have a brochure from Dolphin systems and appreciate that I need either
the Apollo, Juno or PC2 devices. The latter is the least expensive
as it is a plug-in device.
I have 2 questions:
(a) How does the PC2 internal card perform compared with Apollo/Juno
(b) Are there any less expensive synthesisers available from other
sources that would work as well with HAL95?
Thanks in anticipation,
