Gail
We have just produced a booklet for our students called Meeting Your
Examination Needs which you might find interesting. Although we follow
guidelines which have been set down, we always treat every student as an
individual. About 25% of our students have more than one disability. The
combined effects mean that there are enormous variations in need. I am
copying this to Glenn Dickinson who will be able to let you have a copy of
the booklet. (Glenn - why not sign on to dis-forum?) Glenn is our new
regional coordinator for disabled students since I have moved to our
Cambridge office. He also deals with exam arrangements for students with
special needs.
I will be running a workshop on the topic of exam arrangements for disabled
students at Skill's annual conference later this month.
