This may be a case where one assumes a device to exist, but
no one has yet got around to inventing it - unless someone
knows different - or if it does exist the market isn't big
enough to justify its manufacture.
There is an organisation called REMAP who would be worth
contacting. REMAP is a voluntary network of engineers who
offer their expertise, in their spare time, to invent,
design and produce gadgets for people with disabilities.
The device you envisage could be just the sort of thing
they could help you with.
