I have a student with Asthma who I believe could benefit
from DSA.
I would interested to hear of disability Officers
experiences of supporting students who have asthma.
Particularly success or otherwise in obtaining support
through DSA. I had one case a couple of years ago of a
student with very severe asthma who required DSA, but it
took quite a battle to get the support required.
Asthma is a very common condition and indeed some top
sportsmen and women have it, which can make Awards Officers
very suspicious when financial support is requested. But
it can be a very debilitating condition. Any thoughts?
