Has anyone else looked at the TES pages yet? (and sorry to those who get
cross-posted copies)

No hint of this in the glowing self portrait on page 4 of Computers
Update today
So what about schools (and teachers) who are Acorn based? (No Java or
frames yet for ANT - but see "Booted but friendly" on P41 for positive
comments about Acorn software/hardware interaction)
Have they also considered the needs of disabled users, the implications of
the Disability Discrimination Act etc. There are plenty of sites that are
flashy but still offer material that is accessible to text based or
non-java systems. (BETT is a good example)
I plan to get connected with my PSION/PocketBook shortly so that I can
stay in touch while abroad. For this I want material that will download
quickly, display on a very small screen, and fit into a small amount of RAM
too.
I regret that they appear to have succumbed tho the needs of advertising,
rather that those of the user.

Ted
