My son had an Acorn A4 portable and a service contract with Granada.
Except that they sometimes came to our home in Surrey when he was in
Durham, the service was excellent, I don't think he lost a full day's use.
Keeping the invoices *is* essential. Dyslexic students might want parents
to store them and just keep a copy handy, this reduces the risk of it
getting lost at each end/start of term as every thig moves from home to
campus and back.
