Our school provides about 25 to 30 students with notetakers a semester.
We enlist students from the class who have good grade point averages to
be notetakers. Every Friday they bring their notes to our office and
make copies. We then put the notes in mail boxes for the students who
need them. At the end of the semester the notetaker is paid a $75.00
honorarium for their services. This procedure has been in place for
about four years and has worked well so far.
