I'd be glad for short, cheap answers to this. Thank you in anticipation
Lee
We have a blind Drama student on the course this year.
She has a laptop running Win 95, but she hasn't quite got around to
learning it yet,
so is still on Wordperfect 5.1.
Attached to a COM port is a "voice" box, which reads the text on the
screen and
menus etc.
Do you know of such a system for Windows ?
I know there's TextAssist with Soundblaster cards, but wondering if
there's a
program/card which will connect with any software (especially Email,
WWW
browsers etc) and read menus and text on screen.
Any ideas ?!!
Next stop is the RNIB.
Thanks !
Lee
