Subject: Re: Skype, Zoom, or what? (Sorry - NOT statistics-related)
Thanks to the 20+ people who have replied.
The general consensus seems to be that
(a) Zoom is better than Skype
(b) another leading contender is Jitsi. To test this I have set up a trial meeting on Jitsi for today (all day), and you are ALL invited to try the following link
https://meet.jit.si/Bibbytest
I won't be there all the time but I am there now and I will be interested to hear what happens at your end. (Please do NOT send to the whole list unless you really want to. And of course, feel free to ignore. But do NOT ignore what Boris tells you!)
Thanks

Here's hoping all RadStatters and others stay healthy - and sane.
I have been asked to set up an online meeting facility for several groups I am involved with. Some involve computer-literate members; others do not.
The two main contenders seem to be Skype and Zoom, but are there others?
Is there anyone who has used both Skype and Zoom who can advise me about functionality, ease of use, and other aspects please?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Keep happy.
Keep healthy.
Keep in touch.
JOHN BIBBY
