Article 7 (3) - The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Then look at the right to erasure, Article 17(2) - where the controller has made the personal data public and is obliged pursuant to paragraph 1 to erase the personal data, the controller, taking account of available technology and the cost of implementation, shall take reasonable steps, including technical measures, to inform controllers which are processing the personal data that the data subject has requested the erasure by such controllers of any links to, or copy or replication of, those personal data.

Subject: [data-protection] If consent is difficult to withdraw...?
We are collecting data that may be used to be published in a book. People can submit the data via Office 365 Forms, this processing is being done under public task. The creator has then asked for consent to publish their name with the data, their name is not required if they don't want it published, but can it be consent if it would be impossible to withdraw it from a published book?
Thanks
