Another point is that you need to tell the subject unless the request has specifically stated doing so will cause prejudice. This can give you some comfort as you don't really need to worry too much if subject does not object . Sensible process would be:
1. Tell subject you have had request and intend to disclose - lawful basis Art 6(1)(c) and /or (e) supported by the quoted DPA section. Include a reminder of the rights to object e.g. by reference to your existing PN
2. Wait 7 days
3. Disclose
Only if you receive an objection would you need to consider whether it was a legitimate use of the inspectors powers and you are using your subject to raise specific cause rather than arguing from principle.
