I'd be interested to know how other organisations make their visitor management data protection compliant / or don't! Currently our visitor sign in book is still a physical book, rather than an app on a tablet, which means that someone signing in can view the other entries for that day (name, organisation and car reg). Also despite signage stating that visitors must sign in, the positioning of the fixed Reception desk is such that it is easy to walk past without signing in.
What do other organisations do?
Do you have a signing in system which means people (apart from the Receptionist) cannot see visitors' personal data?
Do you enforce signing in and if so how?
Thanks
Jude
