I've long thought that there is scope to produce a cross governmental
toolkit which can be used by organisations, not just health and social care.
The idea, for me, is a good one but the practicalities may get in the way,
although expanding the new DSPT would be a reasonable way to go as a first
step.

Subject: [data-protection] Police, Fire and DSP Toolkits
Good afternoon all
With the Police and Fire Service increasingly becoming recipients of Health
and Social Care data as part of local care records should we insist that
they complete a relevant DSP Toolkit.
I note that the Metropolitan police headquarters and Buckinghamshire Fire
Service already produce one but hardly any others do so.
Regards
Chris
